Obituary for Mr Daniel R. Moreno
Daniel Ray Moreno (Danny), 47, of Camarillo, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 with his beloved wife, Debbi, family and friends at his side.
Danny was an amazing husband, father, and friend. He lived his entire life in Camarillo and graduated from Camarillo High School in 1980. After school, Danny went to work at Point Mugu Naval Base as a Budget Analyst. In 1990, he married the love of his life Debbi. He is survived by his wife Debbi, his two daughters Nichole and Alyssa; his parents Manuel and Barbara Moreno; brother David and his family; and a large extended family.
He enjoyed reading and collecting comic books. Danny would often attend Comic Con in San Diego. His favorite characters were Silver Surfer, Captain America, and Wolverine. He also enjoyed traveling, going on many trips around the United States and abroad with his family. His two girls were the center of his life. He loved going to the movies and watching them participate in sports throughout the years.
He is deeply loved and will be missed by all that knew him. The Celebration of the Funeral Mass Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Crestview and Las Posas Road, Camarillo, on Tuesday, March 9, 2009 with the burial to follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo, CA.
In his memory for the service, flowers may be sent to Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Danny’s name to the American Cancer Society.
