Obituary for Gloria Jean Bethke
Gloria Jean Bethke, peacefully passed way on March 5, 2010 in Camarillo, CA.
Jean, as she was fondly known, was born on January 10, 1927 in Halstead, Kansas to Floyd and Geska Weaver. She spent her earlier years residing in both Kansas and New York.
Jean was a lovely, talented woman with many interests and accomplishments. After receiving her Bachelors Degree, she taught for many years, sharing her knowledge and love of education as an elementary school teacher.
She had an extensive home library; and was an avid reader. Many will remember Jean for her love of cats and her love of the theater.
As a Ventura county resident for the past fourteen years, she enjoyed her home, community and friends in Leisure Village, California.
A Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Camarillo.
