Barbara Ann Schoenberger, 81, of Camarillo, California passed away peacefully April 19, 2017.

Barbara was born on February 10, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When Barbara was five-years-old, the family moved to White Plains, New York. After graduating High School, she worked at New York Hospital in their Food Service Department for 15 years. After relocating to Alhambra, California, Barbara worked for The Episcopal Home until her retirement. She was a loyal, hard-worker, who always had a warm smile and sympathetic ear for everyone.

In 1996, Barbara retired to Camarillo to be close to family and enjoyed 20 years of living at Mira Vista Senior Living Apartments.

Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Schoenberger; mother, Kathleen Douglas Schoenberger; and nephew, John Leonard. Barbara is survived by her sisters, Mary Robinson and Joan Leonard; brothers, Henry (Helen) and Patrick McGrath; and nine nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank DaVita Dialysis Center, Livingston Memorial Hospice Association and Royal Gardens Assisted Living for the excellent care they provided to Barbara.
