Brenda Kay Moore, a 56 year resident of Ventura County, passed away on June 29, 2017. She was just starting a new chapter of her life, being retired and traveling with her husband and dogs.

   Brenda was born in Ventura to Jackie and Floybelle Moore. She was the oldest of four children, followed by Terry, Sherrie and Jay Moore.

      She is also survived by her husband, James McDaniel; daughters, Jafra Pruss and Bria McDaniel; and son Jesse Robert Edwards. She was also known as Nana to her grandchildren, Cassandra Marie Martillini, Savanna Lee Martillini, Catherine Elizabeth Alphord and Wyatt Grey Priest.

      Brenda was a friend to many and always there to offer a helping hand to everyone even though she had many medical issues that limited her she was never one to just sit by the sidelines. She was looking forward to moving to Washington and being close to her kids and grandchildren.
