It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, who left this world suddenly on April 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 72 years young. Born on August 9, 1951, in Ventura, CA. Charlene A. Valdivia was the daughter of Paul and Della Villa who she preceded in death along with her brothers, Paul, and Jimmy Villa.
She grew up in Camarillo and later pursued her goals of becoming a member as an ILWU member/ Longshoremen at the Port of Hueneme. She was a hard worker, a voice for her co workers, and highly respected member.
Charlene A. Valdivia was also the widow of a longtime member, Harry C. Valdivia II, and a hard working devoted mother to her sons, Andrew Fuller, Harry Valdivia III (Booh), James Valdivia (Squeaky), Jason Valdivia and her loving daughters-in-law. Her love and guidance were the foundation of our family, and her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a source of strength and inspiration, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she has touched.
In addition to her loving family, Charlene Valdivia is survived by her baby brother Richard Villa & Alice Villa (sister in law) several nieces & nephews. She will also be survived and missed so dearly by her numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren who she very much loved and adored. A special circle of friends and acquaintances who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Charlene's life will be held on April 20, 2024, 11 a.m. at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home and Memorial Park, in The Chapel of the Hills, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring her memory and sharing stories of her loving and fun life.
Though she may be gone from our sight, Charlene will forever remain in our hearts, remembered for her heart of gold and compassion for so many and endless love for her family.
