A flood of memories of younger days and days of walking home from school in the dead of winter without gloves or hats. Watching American Bandstand at your house and mentioning your brother Herm. Visiting you and D at China Lake.....watching you park Tommy at NAS Glenview. Thanks Lori for letting me know. RIP Chuck, your memory will be eternal.

Dad, it's been 3 weeks since you left us and I still can't shake the fact that you're gone. Everyday i drive home from work it hits me even harder. The hour ride home went by so quickly, just calling you and we'd bs about nothing the whole time. Whether it would be about stuff the guys on American Picker found or the million dollar RV someone bought on GO RVing. It didn't matter to me what it was, cause i was talking with my best friend! I know you were in a lot of pain from your back and hip and now you're not. That's the only saving grace about you being gone. I love you so much Dad and I'll never get over losing you. Say hi to Mom for me and please give her a big kiss for me.! You truly were and are the greatest man i'll ever know and I hope to someday be half the man you were! There will never be another Chuck Holm!!!
RIP DAD!! I love and miss you so much.

My deepest condolences to my family in California on the loss of Uncle Chuck. Many years have passed, but I have many fond memories of Uncle Chuck from my childhood when visiting all of you in Pennsylvania. He was a distinguished and kindhearted man. God bless you all during your time of grieving and always. Love you!

I worked with Chuck Holm for nearly 10 years, back in the good old days at Point Mugu. We were technicians, working for a grouchy but good boss (Pete Wilson). Chuck was a smoker and that was his only vice. Other than that, he was one of the
best people I ever met. He worked hard, always did a good job, and rarely disparaged anyone other than upper management (as did all of us). I regret that I never saw him after I was forced to retire, in 1999, during a Reduction In Force. He used to fly P3
aircraft, he said, and had quite a few "air stories" to tell about his flying
experiences, during the cold war against the USSR. It was good to have known
someone and worked with someone of his stature and Navy background.

To the children of Charles Holm:
I read your dad's obituary this morning in the Ventura Star and though perhaps Charles and I are related. We have the same name, born in Chicago and the both of us were in the Navy.
I was unable to attend the funeral today as I just saw the notice this afternoon. My father was Frank Joseph Holm and he and my mother grew up in Chicago.. even more amazing is my mother, as yours, was Deloris.
I am just beginning to trace my ancestry but have not run across Charles.
Below is my Email Address, I live in Thousand Oaks and would appreciate any kind of reply, and especially if you know any connection. Thanks and Im sorry for your Loss

To the family of Chuck, it is with a very heavy heart that I write the family of Chuck's passing . He was a great neighbor and friend to every one he knew in the Rancho Adolfo Park. Any time I needed advice I could always count on Chuck. He had an easy manner about him and a soft tone that was so very likeable right off when you first met him. He will be sorely missed by all in our community. Every one thought the world of Chuck.. He often gave me very good advice and we talked at length at times. I will personally will miss him and his pick up driving slowly up and down Tahquitz Dr. and our quick conversations and his friendly manner .. My deepest condolences to all his family .May God cradle Chuck in his bosom and comfort you in your grief. My prayers will be with you through this differcult time.
