Clarence Frank Crowley was born on March 16, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to his parents, Clarence and Lennis.  While in high school, he developed a love for music and a passion for the drums.  He joined the high school band and was a drummer in a local rock band as well.  While playing for the rock band, he met his first wife, Darlene.  Frank started his family in Culver City, having three sons: Chris, Kevin, and Shaun.  He furthered his education by receiving his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting from California State University Northridge.  The family, then, decided to move to Newbury Park.  He established himself in the business, quickly becoming a partner in Wolfe, Emch and Crowley Accountancy in Ventura.  He was also an active member on the California Society of CPA committees.  Later, he expanded his services by becoming a Certified Financial Planner.

As a long-standing member of the Rotary Club of Ventura, Frank served many positions in the club, including President and Treasurer, and received the Paul Harris Fellow recognition.  Stand Down for Veterans and the Special Olympics are some of the charitable events that he severed. 

Frank met his second wife, Jennie, and they had a daughter, Kaitlyn.  Together, they enjoyed traveling the world, visiting places such as Peru, Panama, Spain, Costa Rica, France and China.  Even though he was well traveled, some of his favorite places were still in Southern California, particularly Santa Barbara and Palm Springs.

Significant activities in Frank’s life were working out at the gym and studying martial arts.  He became a black belt in Kenpo karate, of which he was both a student and an instructor in various locations around Southern California.  His training allowed him to compete competitively in several tournaments.  He also enjoyed photography, movies, and languages, particularly Spanish.

Frank always had a love of percussion instruments, and seeing full sets of electronic drums, bongo drums and conga drums in his house, was commonplace.  He was routinely seen strumming his fingers or tapping his feet, demonstrating the drum beats that were ever-present in his mind.

Frank had a calming demeanor and his thoughtful and engaging conversation always left a positive impact on everyone around him.  He was a loving and caring husband, father, friend and partner with a genuine heart.  He was well-respected and loved and will truly be missed.
