Dorothy L. (Weeden) Williams, 82 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.  She was born on May 25, 1934 to the late Cecilia Thomas and George F. Weeden in Providence, RI.  She was the beloved wife of Jasper (Bill) Williams and she cherished her five children: Joannie Brown of Raleigh, NC; Rosalind (Charles) Harris of Garner, NC; Loretta Weeden of Raleigh, NC; Esther Brown of Newark, DE and her son the late George Brown.  She adored her five grandchildren: Austin Brown, Wesley Brown, Jovonah Weeden, Christen Weeden and Treka Brown and a bountiful of great grandchildren who were the apple of her eyes.  She was a a living testimony of Matthew 25:35-36 to all who knew her.  She fed you if you were hungry, she gave you clothes if you needed them, she gave you something to drink if you were thirsty, and helped you get well if you were sick.  Her doors were opened to all.  She leaves a legacy of footsteps leading to God's Kingdom through her wealth of knowledge of the Lord.  She was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, in Oxnard, CA and served as Treasurer of the Mission Board for many years.  She was Momma Dottie to the community and Mother Dottie to the village.  She is a member of the Pokanoket Native American Tribe and cherished her Tribal Family.  Burial will be at the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, Memorial Park and Crematory, in Camarillo, CA.
