One of the bright spots of being Gloria Kilmer's neighbor all those years was getting to spend time with Gloria Shorts. She will be missed... until we meet again.

Thank you for entrusting me with Gloria's arrangements at this sensitive time in your lives. It is clear, from what you've shared with me, that your mother was a loving, warm matriarch in your family and will most certainly be missed. She was from "The Greatest Generation". She knew the value of a dollar and how to live minimally but she was also a lady and she made an effort to celebrate her femininity and care for her appearance. I'm sure you hold invaluable the many lessons she shared with each of you. I pray the way you've chosen to celebrate her life, and the love you shared, brings you a sense of peace.
