John Wlibert Havicon

December 30, 1929 – April 22, 2017

John Wilbert Havicon (Jack) passed away in Placerville, California on April 22, 2017 after being diagnosed with cancer. He is survived by his wife Virginia Havicon, and was married to her for 62-years. He was the loving father to Robert Havicon, Lynn Havicon John Havicon and Richard Havicon. He has ten grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren.

Jack was a resident of Camarillo for 47-years. He moved to his son’s Placerville farm in 2012. He was a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy for 27-Years and worked 24-years for the Naval Weapons Defense System.

Jack was a devoted member of Jubilee Church in Camarillo and enjoyed volunteering at Channel of Blessing, distributing food for those in need.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 beginning with a graveside visitation and internment at 9:00 a.m. at the Conejo Mountain Cemetery, 2052 Howard Rd., Camarillo. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m.  at Jubilee Church,  1169 Calle Suerte, Camarillo, CA. Contributions in  Jack’s name may be made to the Channel of Blessing Food Closet,  1169 Calle Suerte, Camarillo, CA. 93012.
