Dear family! When ever I saw him he greeted me with a smile. He was always good mooded and even in the worst of times had this aura of life is worth living. He is one of those people one does not forget. As hard as it is to live without him, he is worth all the sadness that comes with loosing him.

Lillian, My husband told me about Joe's passing. We are truly sorry for your loss. I want you to know that Joe was a good friend of mine at the Stagecoach Inn Museum and gave me rides when we worked together there (I haven't driven in years). He was our first "guy" docent, I will miss him. We are so glad that you and he had some years of happiness. Alexandra & Bert Weyl

Lillian, while I don't really know you well I do know you from the Focus on Balance classes. You have had a really tough few months and I am so very sorry! Hugs and prayers to you and your family. Hope to see you back in Balance soon.

We regret that we cannot be with you today because of Jack's need to have dialysis today. We are thinking of Joe and his family and of the many good times that we shared together. He will be missed. But we are glad that he very likely did not suffer before he passed on. He lived the good life almost to the last day.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joe. He was a fun guy to have in classes with his wife Lillian. He added so much humor to make exercising more fun. He didn't stay long in the classes but while he was there I loved it. Many of the students in class who knew him expressed sadness at his passing, too. My thoughts and prayers are with Lillian and the family at this time.

I will always remember that never ending smile and your uplifting words, your kind voice and laughter. You lived a life well lived and of course, well traveled... I have many family memories to cherish but the one most recent is my favorite........our annual lunch in Kingman every October for the last 3 years. Rest in Peace Uncle Gene.......
