Robert passed away peacefully in Ventura, CA after a five year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

    He is survived by his daughter, Tracey Allen of Ventura, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Viola Allen; and his son, Robert Mitchell Allen.

   Robert was born in Queens, Long Island, New York in 1926. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and attended flight school. He then studied at the Cornell University, graduating with B.M.E. then attended Stanford University graduating with a Master’s of Science.

   He spent his career working for the Marquardt and Hughes and also did other consultant work. He was a Ramjet development engineer.

   He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, golfing and traveling. He had many longtime friends. He will be missed by all who loved him. Robert was a man of integrity and great accomplishments.
