Toni June Birney, age 71, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus her Savior on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at her home in Camarillo, California. Toni is survived by her loving husband, James Birney; daughters Kelly (Mark) Polizzi, and Michelle (Cutter) Park; stepdaughters Trish (Keith) Hocking and Beth (Bob) Munz; stepson Michael Birney; ten grandchildren, one great- grandchild; sister Denise (Bob) Kin, sister in-law Judy Norton and many extended family members and close friends. Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Royce and Gerry Norton, and her brother, Chris Norton. Toni grew up in Farmington, Michigan and graduated from Farmington High School. She attended Ferris State College in Big Rapids, Michigan. She spent time as a child care provider, cosmetologist and dental assistant. Toni enjoyed sports such as running, swimming, skiing, and golf. She also loved to travel and treasured her time with family and friends. A Celebration of Life in honor of Toni will be held at the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, CA 93012 on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 am with a reception immediately following the service.
