Albert McLoud

Albert “Al” McLoud passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018 from complications of Alzheimer’s at the age of 73.

Al was born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa in 1944. After graduating from high school in 1962, Al enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at March AFB in Riverside, CA.  He loved California and made it his home.  Al earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State Northridge in 1972. He worked as a CFO in the construction industry until 1990 when he started his own financial consulting business.

A loving and devoted husband and father, Al is survived by his wife and best friend of 39 years, Carol and their treasured son Craig and daughter-in-law Lorenia.  He will be remembered fondly by his sister Velda Crosby, brothers Ronald and Harold (Mary) McLoud, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Al was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Alice McLoud, brother Earl McLoud, brother-in-law Howard Crosby and sister-in-law Maddie McLoud.

We will forever remember his love, laughter, kindness, adventurous spirit, unconditional loyalty, hugs and smile…………………….always his smile.

As per his wishes, Al’s body was donated to “Science Care” to further research in Alzheimer’s and other related diseases. Donations in Al’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
