Alice Mary Lowe (Cote’) 11/15/1931 – 03/20/2021
Surrounded by all her loved ones, Alice Mary Lowe peacefully went to sleep on March 20, 2021 and woke up in the arms Jesus.
She was born November 15, 1931 in Leominster MA to Leo J Cote’ and Elizabeth (Thomas) Cote’. Alice was the oldest of nine children and had a strong hand in helping to raise her siblings as her own mother passed at an early age.
After Alice married Charlie in 1953, she was given sad news that it would be a one in a million chance that they would ever be able to have children. They defied the odds and had FIVE children, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Alice was a dedicated wife and mother. She always made sure the needs of others were met before her own. She not only took care of her family but she was kind and caring to any friends her children brought home.
Alice fits the role of a Proverbs 31 woman;
Proverbs 31:26-29 says:
She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”
Charlie & Alice celebrated 67 years of marriage. Her children are Charles W. Lowe Jr (deceased in 2008) married to Vickie (Mckenney) Lowe, Mark Lowe, married to Megan (Rosalez) Lowe, Cathy Russell, Deanne Lowe and Alison Smith, married to Gary Smith. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Charles W Lowe, her brother Robert Cote’ and sisters Jean Cote’, Pauline Hickman and Carol Sicsko, she is survived by her sister Irene Runyon and brothers Leo Cote’, Frank Cote’ and Jack Cote’.
In 1983 they moved to Newbury Park California for their retirement years. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Charlie.
We are blessed to have a double celebration of life to honor both Charlie & Alice at 11am on April 3, 2021 at Eden Gardens Weddings of Moorpark: 3900 Eden Gardens Lane (Formerly Brennan Rd) Moorpark, CA 93021.
