Blake Anthony Rosen

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved son Blake Anthony Rosen on September 29, 2023 at the young age of 25.

Blake was born in West Hills, California on June 6,1998 to Dana and Denise Rosen. Blake loved life and the outdoors. Blake was an amazing fisherman, he grew up fishing Westlake with his Dad and Grandpa Wayne Caywood at their house on the lake. Blake also shared his Dad’s love for fishing the Channel Islands for many years. Grandpa Wayne also shared his love for fishing the Sierra Mountains, teaching Blake to fly fish, Blake also worked at Grandpa Wayne and Grandma Linda’s Tackle store Malibu Fish’n Tackle.

Blake loved to go hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains with his Mother Denise. Blake also had a passion for motorcycle riding and his reptiles.

Blake was very proud of and looked up to his big brother Matthew for his accomplishments in Water Polo, and graduating as an Officer from Annapolis Naval Academy.

Blake worked as a Set Painter for Local 729 starting in 2018. Blake and his very proud Dad were fortunate enough to work on a few projects together, Blake always wanted to be a set painter since elementary school, and formed many friendships along the way.

Blake was loving, compassionate and always willing to try to help others in need. He had a beautiful smile and he loved to laugh! When ever you would have a conversation with Blake, no matter how long it was he always said "I love you” at the end.

Blake joins his Grandfather Bruce Carlson, Grandmother Donna Rosen, and Uncle Don Carlson, and his good friends Hayden and Eric and will forever be in our hearts.

Blake is survived by his Mother and Father Denise and Dana Rosen and his Brother Matthew, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and many Cousins, all whom Blake loved dearly and shared his life with.

Blake’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, He was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Family and friends are invited to Blake’s Celebration of Life service at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park Chapel on December 3, 2023 at 2 pm. Reception to follow at Conejo Mountain Reception Hall from 3pm to 5pm.
