Catherine M Friedman

Catherine Friedman, beloved resident of Leisure Village, Camarillo, passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 90.

She is survived by her son Mark Friedman and daughter-in-law Rachel Friedman; her brother Jack Miller; her sister Margaret Robinson; and her granddaughters Rochelle Panelo and Rica Casper

Cathy was born in Philadelphia to Robert Miller and Catherine Carrick. In 1970, she married Jerrold Friedman, who was to become the love of her life. Cathy spent her professional career at Lockheed until her retirement. 

Cathy was a wonderful mother and avid traveler. She enjoyed many different hobbies such as writing and co-producing plays for the Players’ Guild of Leisure Village. She was outgoing and vivacious, mischievous and often had a great sense of humor. She often hosted friends and family for get-togethers, which were always wonderful and impeccably decorated. She was creative yet methodical, ensuring that the family history was meticulously documented and chronicled.

She will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

A private funeral service will be held due to pandemic. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
