David L. Throneberry

David Throneberry, 63, passed away suddenly on June 19, 2018. David was born in Oxnard on June 19, 1955, and lived in Ventura County for most of his life except for the six years he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1979.
David retired this year as a communication technician. He worked for the Harris-Dracon Corp., Camarillo, from 1980 to 2005, and various other communication companies during his career; however, his real love was photography for which he was a master of phenomenal landscapes with his film and digital cameras. David also loved family, friends, music, movies and food.
He is survived by brothers, James Throneberry (Carolyn) of S.C.; Raymond Natera (Barbara) of Iowa; Marshall Throneberry (Teresa) of Oxnard; Michael Rick Throneberry of Oxnard; James Anderson of Oregon; sisters, Carol Natera-Norey (Bill) of Camarillo; Monica Anderson of Sacramento; and step-mother, Nellie Throneberry of Oxnard. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Anderson; his father, Fred Throneberry; and his brother, Charles Throneberry. He is also preceded in death by his dear fiancee, Bernice, from which he never emotionally recovered. We pray he is with her now in a better place. We wish to thank his dear friends in Simi Valley who kept him going for as long as he did.
A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, CA 93012 with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 A.M.
