Diana Casey

July 1, 1949 - Sept. 30, 2022 Diana Casey, beloved by all who knew her, is now reunited with all of her loved ones that have preceded her in death.

She has been a loved and loving daughter, wife, mother, friend, professional, and so much more during her beautiful life that sadly came to end this past weekend. All throughout her life she had nothing but the best of intentions and so much love for everyone she knew and everything she did.

Diana had an idyllic childhood growing up in Rhode Island, and then moved to Los Angeles with her best friend after graduating nursing school with a sense of humor and adventure. Soon after she met her true and forever love, Robert Casey, and they were married not long after. After having a son and moving to the beach in Ventura County, she continued her career as a health professional. From the ER and visiting patients in their homes to administration over 40+ years, she was a great asset to every organization she was an integral part of. She never stopped learning and had plenty of opportunities to pass on her knowledge and expertise. Diana was always so proud of her co-workers, students, and employees here in Ventura County.

After her career she found great enjoyment in her retirement. She had already mastered her hobbies (cooking and gardening) and so found purpose in local community activism, where she met many more great friends who would also become her family. Farewells, safe travels, and so much love from all of us remaining here. You are dearly missed and celebrated. Funeral Services are to be held at Conejo Mountain Cemetary in the Old Chapel on Tues, Oct. 11th at 11am. Flowers\donations may be directed to Conejo Mountain.
