Dolores Moraga Torres

Beloved wife and mother Dolores Moraga Torres passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Oxnard, CA on November 21, 2022. She was 91.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Oxnard, Dolores was a middle child of eleven to Andres & Maria Louisa Moraga. She is preceded in death by siblings, Andres, Arturo, Armida, Josie, Richard, Clara, Ray & Alex; her husband, Martin of 53 years; and daughter-in-law, Gloria. She leaves behind two younger siblings, Robert & Rosie; in addition to her five children, Martin Jr., Fred, John, Edward & Maria Dolores (Deedee); eleven grandchildren, Isaac, Andres, Tammy, Sharleen, Amanda, Rebecca, Jonathan, Stephanie, Jasmin, Jennifer & Joshua; five great grandchildren, Marshall, Leanora, Isabel, Harper & Matthew; daughters-in-law, Debbie, Christine & Jane; son-in-law, Arturo; and bonus family members.

In the Spring of 1973 Martin, Lola, along with their two first born sons embraced the ‘Truth’ and were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses. On that day forward Lola found great purpose in sharing and always helping neighbors to learn the ‘Good News according to Jesus’. Her favorite verse was Revelation 21:3,4 

“…. He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more…”

Her memorial service is to be held on December 17, 2022 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 651 Hobson Way in Oxnard at 1:00 p.m.
