Donald "Don " Keith Law

Donald K. Law, 92, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on October 8, 2021. Don was born on December 14, 1928, in Colorado, to George Gordon Law and Ella Mae Parker.Growing up, Don was an athlete who also loved archery, antiques, gardening, airplanes and especially, animals. In fact, his love of animals led him to a career as a veterinarian. In 1971, he and his wife, Jan, opened up Saticoy Veterinary Hospital. Don was a beloved doctor who cared for each and every patient, and their families. Many will remember Dr. Law’s joy and care that he provided to the Ventura County community over many decades. Don is preceded in death by his loving wife Jan, his parents, and brother Stuart Law. He is survived by his brother George, daughters Jodi Reeder (Matt), Staci Garcia (James), step-children Lynnie Melvey (Dale) and Bill Whorton, as well as 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. As we think about memories of Don, we will forever be reminded of his loyalty, sense of humor and always having a joke and a good story to tell. He will be greatly missed!
