Edward Costello

Edward M. Costello passed away on Friday May 18th, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Ed was born in St. Louis, IL in 1934 and after high school moved with his parents to California, then served in the Army during the Korean War. After the war in 1958 he met and married his wife Wanda while attending Woodbury University, earning his degree in accounting. They moved to Camarillo in 1964 where he went on to start a CPA firm that served the county and beyond for many years.
Ed is survived by his wife of 63 years Wanda, their four children, Eva, Canty, Eddie Jr., and Michael, their spouses and their grandchildren, Jessica, Mitchell, Jenna, Sean and Madi. Ed liked to stay involved in his church and community. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis and American Legion Post 731. He also volunteered his services to the United Way. He was and will remain very much loved and missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Church at 25 N. Las Posas Rd. in Camarillo on July 17, 2021 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers please make a tribute donation in Edward's name to the Alzheimer's Association by going to www.alz.org.
