Evan James Love

On May 23, 1988, Evan James Love was born in Northridge, CA. Evan grew up in a happy and loving family with his parents, Eric and Robin, and his two sisters, Caitie and Halle. Evan attended Simi Valley schools. After graduating from Simi High School, Evan went to Moorpark College and eventually joined the Air Force in 2009 where he became a firefighter stationed at Holloman Air Force base in Alamogordo, NM. He received several commendations during his training and was an Honor graduate upon completion. He then returned to Simi Valley following his honorable discharge in 2011. More recently, Evan was living in Santa Barbara. He returned to college at Santa Barbara City College to complete his degree, and also met his girlfriend Bianca.

Evan had much to enjoy in life - from playing with his friends on the street (known as the “Waukegan Crew”), riding his Go-Ped, camping trips with Indian guides, Boy Scouts, his baseball, hockey and basketball games, the times he enjoyed with his many friends from kindergarten through high school, our many family vacations such as the boating trips at the lake, trips to Oregon to see his Grandpa John and Grandma Jerri, fishing trips to June Lake with his Grandpa George, father and his uncles, spending time with his Grandma Nicki (Evan loved his conversations with her), the many large family gatherings for birthdays and holidays, the fun times Evan spent with his aunts & uncles and all of his cousins whom he was so very close to. More recently, Evan was able to spend fun times with his niece and nephews; Liam, Finley, Tyson and Bronson.

Evan passed away on August 28, 2020. Our son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend, Evan is gone and our hearts are broken. Evan was a beautiful, happy and loving little boy and a handsome, intelligent, caring, energetic and sensitive young man. He had a tremendous empathy for others. Evan loved God, loved us, loved his entire family and loved his two dogs.
