Jacob Carl Manuel

Jacob Carl Manuel, a very accomplished 34-year-old man of Camarillo, passed away on January 13, 2023 due to a heart attack.  Jacob was born March 22, 1988 in Thousand Oaks, California to Jim C. and Deborah E. Manuel.  He graduated from Rio Mesa High School where he was a very talented athlete and stellar student.  Jacob was blessed to receive several division 1 Football Scholarship offers and chose to attend San Diego State University.  He completed his Bachelors Degree in Political Science.

Jacob possessed a keen mind, a photographic memory and loved to passionately debate his positions relating to world events.  Jacob’s passion has always been boxing ever since he was little.  He started his boxing journey with his father and loved to compete.  He watched boxing every Saturday night without fail. 

Jacob left a beautiful fiancé and wonderful 2-year-old son who was the love of his life.  Jacob could best be described as a man who would always serve and protect his family and friends.  He would give every part of himself to others.  He will be truly missed by all that were blessed to know him. He will forever be our Big Teddy Bear.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2023 at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home @ 2:00 p.m. at 2052 Howard Rd. Camarillo, Ca. 93012.
