James AKA “Jim” or “Jay” Gallo left this earth at the age of 64 on Monday, December 18, 2017.  James was born and raised in “da Bronx” and moved to California in 1977 where he lived ever since.  He also had a home in Myrtle Beach, SC and was bicoastal for the last ten years of his life. He graduated with a degree from Lehman University in the Bronx and was a CPA, working as Controller for such places as UCLA, LA Business Journal and Xytech Systems.

He enjoyed animals of all kinds, especially dogs and birds. He had the highest regard for all Life. Feeding wildlife was one of his hobbies, though he felt it was more of a duty. He always felt it necessary to care for the less fortunate, even animals. He had a great appreciation for them. His favorite vacation spot was Maui and he visited there often. He enjoyed the beach and the outdoors, was an excellent swimmer and enjoyed skiing and boating as well. He also enjoyed traveling the world and gaining cultural experiences from countries such as England, Morocco, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Monaco, Egypt and Turkey, to name a few.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Connie, and his nieces, Debby and Trichia and nephew, Kenny and his faithful fur baby, "Lucky.”
