James A. Greer

James Albert Greer died February 26, 2019 at Lina's Guest Home in Oxnard after months of declining health. He was 93 years old.
James was born May 9, 1925 in Portland Oregon to Glades (Peggy) and James Ernest Greer. James lived in Ventura County since 1968 where he later worked as an engineer for many years at Point Mugu.
He was married to Barbara, the love of his life, until her passing in 1996. They had one son, Michael Albert Greer.
James was a voracious reader and enjoyed taking long walks. James will be remembered as being a loving husband and wonderful provider.
He is survived by his sister, Betty May, son Michael and his wife Carrie, and two grandsons, Noah and Seth. James will be in our hearts forever...
