Jennifer K. Leyva

On Thursday August 9, 2018 our beloved Jenn passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones. Jennifer (Jenn) Kristen Leyva had a courageous battle with breast cancer that she fought with strength and grace. Jenn was only 37 years old but lived everyday to the fullest and had a joyful and precious life. Despite knowing her life was ending, during her final days Jenn continued to provide the support and encouragement to those she was leaving behind. Jenn’s love for her family and friends was enduring and unwavering, she will truly be missed. The love for her husband, Eric Leyva, and two beautiful children, Crysta (daughter) and Micah (son) was constant and all encompassing. Towards the end of her journey, Jenn’s biggest concern was not being able to share the future and provide the support to her family she knew they would need. Her devotion and love to her family is a great example of how truly awesome and beautiful she was. Jenn’s magnificent spirit will continue to watch over and guide those she loved. The memories we have of her will always be cherished and treasured as she was taken from us way too soon.
Jenn is survived by her husband, Eric Leyva; children, Crysta and Micah; parents, Joe Mastracco and Anna Mastracco; sister, Melissa Parizek her husband Chad Parizek and son Finnegan; grandmother, Olga Mastracco; aunt, Carla Mastracco and her husband, Chuck Jensen; cousin, Brian Mastracco; uncle, Bob Mastracco; In-Laws, Hector and Teresa Leyva; Hector Jr. and Beena Leyva and their children. We are also very thankful to all the family and friends, who have provided prayers, comfort, and support throughout this difficult time.
