Karen Marie Simins

Karen Marie Simins passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, in Camarillo, California. Karen was born to parents Fred and Marie Piazza in Ridgewood, New Jersey and resided in Paramus, New Jersey, until moving to Ventura County, California in 1986. She was a long-time employee of Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks and was loved and respected by everyone. Always went out of the way to help, whether on a personal level or at work.  She was proud of her New Jersey roots and always considered herself a "Jersey Girl".  Her pride and joy was her son, Michael and grandson, Liam. Karen was, without question, one of the world's most loyal soldiers! There was nothing that she could not accomplish if her family was the reason.  She will forever be remembered fondly and certainly never forgotten! Karen will always be remembered for her ability to brighten a room with her presence and infectious laughter.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Marie Piazza.  Her brother, Tony Piazza passed away November 7, 2021.  Karen is survived by her loving son Michael Simins, grandson Liam Parker Simins, sister Cookie Davidson, and nephew Jacob Goebel.

Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. on April 9, 2022 at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo, California. A Repass will follow at the same loction.
