The Los Angeles Lakers lost a loyal fan on September 17, 2018. This purebred tobacco lover, Ilokano, was born on June 1, 1941. Maning loved his wife, Meny, to whom he was married for 52 years; their three lovely children, Yeyet, Ava and Lissa; their grandchildren, 3Xia, Pam, Paulyn and Paulo; and their great granddaughter, Ghiannabear. He was a food lover, too, especially traditional Filipino delicacies like "kutsinta" and "siopao." Since his mission in life was to provide a good life for his family, he worked as an engineer in the Middle East for 10 years, away from his wife and children. Maning and his wife migrated to the United States from the Philippines and two of their daughters and three grandchildren were able to join them nine years later. He has lived a full life, surrounded by his loved ones, relatives and friends.
