Marilyn Louise (Eberlin) Hibbard passed away peacefully on the morning of June 10, 2019 at the age of 87.
Marilyn is survived by daughters Nancy Kincaid and Patti Miller. She had three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Marilyn was born on January 22, 1932 in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania to Lucretia and George Eberlin. She attended Wyalusing High School where she was a cheerleader and dated her future husband of 68 years, Jerry, who was on the Varsity basketball team.
Jerry and Marilyn married in 1949 and moved to Arizona. They then relocated to southern California and lived in Burbank, where she graduated from Burbank High School. In 1962 they moved to Thousand Oaks.
She worked at Burroughs repairing computer disk drives until she retired. She and Jerry owned Valley TV in Thousand Oaks until they retired and set out to travel in their RV.
She and Jerry were active RV enthusiasts and loved to travel. They traveled all over the country and met many wonderful friends. It was the thing in life that she truly loved – being on the road. She also loved to crochet and knit and made beautiful counted cross-stitch pieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 22 at 2:00pm at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012 with a reception to follow at the home of Patti Miller.
