Mary Jonitz Sullivan

Mary Ellen Sullivan, 97, passed away on Feb, 27, 2018. Mary was born in Bolivar, MO on Nov 21, 1920.

Her Precious life’s journey took her and family to Ventura, CA in 1953. Around 1983 she came to Buellton, Solvang Valley where she lived and stayed.

Mary liked to help people, and she was a caregiver to many families in the Solvang area for many years. Mary was a woman of God, and loved her time at church and church family. Mary enjoyed her home and was a great gardener and homemaker. Mary… was a strong, beautiful, amazing lady. She had a cute sense of humor. It didn’t matter how bad things were, being in her presence you would end up smiling. A lady you would want to be a friend.

Mary is survived by her daughter Barbara Sullivan, son Joe Jean Sullivan, Sister June Frye, 5 grandchildren Alisa Ansfield, Crystal Bucher, Don, Brad, and Shawn Sullivan and many great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held for Mary at Conejo Mountain Cemetery, 2052 Howard Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012 on March 20, at 11:00 am.
