Dee Curtis, 93, passed away on February 19, 2018. She was a resident of Ventura County for 68 years. She was born in Spencer, West Virginia on January 4, 1925. Dee came to Ventura County with her husband, Richard Curtis in 1952. Dee worked at Port Hueneme Naval Base, was a caring mother, homemaker and business owner.

    She was a founding and active member of Camarillo United Methodist Church, and enjoying knitting, crocheting, camping and exploring the United States with friends.

   Dee is survived by her children, Mira Cook and Gary Curtis; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Richard Curtis.

    A private burial was held at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo.
