Michael Frank Devor “Mike” was born on February 14, 1966 at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center.  He died peacefully on November 12, 2018. Michael moved to Calabasas when he was six years old.  He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business at California State University at Northridge.  He was a Founding Father member of the Mu Phi chapter of the co-ed business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi.

Michael was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was baptized into the church when he was eight years old and was an active member of the church throughout his whole life. He served a full-time two-year mission for the church in the Toledo, Ohio Mission.  Mike spent a few years serving as a Temple worker in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Los Angeles Temple.  He also served as the singles activities coordinator.  He went above and beyond in uniting all the single members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the greater Los Angeles area.  Through social media, he connected thousands of singles all over Los Angeles.  He had a great love for his Heavenly Father, his Savior, Jesus Christ, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and for all the adult single members of the church.

Mike’s passion was travel and airplanes.  He was a lifetime member of the World Airline Historical Society and attended many aviation conferences.  Mike loved flying on commercial airliners and traveled all around the world.  He really enjoyed experiencing different cultures and had an in-depth knowledge of world geography.  Multilingual and fluent in French, he especially enjoyed Canada and France. He enjoyed watching international activities and World Cup Soccer in particular. Mike loved the whole travel experience, including nice hotels, airports, and airport lounges.

Mike worked as a travel agent and was an expert at booking international travel.  He also earned a degree in project management from ITT Technical Institute in Oxnard, CA.

Mike is survived by his parents, brother, sister, two nieces, and two nephews.  He was a loving son who diligently took care of his mother. He was a loving brother and uncle and loved his nieces and nephews very much.  Mike had a youthful soul, was always young at heart and fun to be around.  He will be forever loved, honored, and missed by his family and friends.
