Michelle “Shelly” Jimenez passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2018 in Port Hueneme, CA at the age of 44.
Shelly is survived by her parents, Fernando and Donna Jimenez of Port Hueneme; her two daughters Cambria Roberts and Sophia Loveland and husband, Jim Loveland; her sister, Carri McDevitt (Edward) of Moorpark; her brother Justin Jimenez, of Port Hueneme and his children, Unique, Jacob and Angel; and numerous relatives in Santa Barbara, CA and Steubenville, OH.
Shelly was born on January 22, 1974. She grew up in Port Hueneme, and graduated from Hueneme High School in 1992 where she was an active participant in the band, softball and volleyball. She attend CSUN from 1992-1993 and received her Dental Assistant Certification from ROP in 1994. She worked as a dental assistant for about 6 years before her career took her into the tow truck industry. She worked as a dispatcher, tow operator and office manager at Panorama Towing. In 2012 she graduated with highest honors from Concorde Career College, with a specialization in Surgical Technology. She worked as a Surgical Tech at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA.
She will be remembered as a loving, caring, dependable, mother, daughter, wife, sister, tia, and friend to all. Shelly most enjoyed spending quality time with her young daughters, husband, and family. She was an amazing cook, always trying new recipes to feed the people she loved. Her heart was kind and her laughter and her smile were contagious. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all that knew her.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home and Memorial Park, in Camarillo, CA, with reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shelly’s life.
