Nathan Harold Fisch

Nathan (Nat) Fisch passed away on October 30 in Los Angeles at the age of 82. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah; son, Michael; and four grandchildren. Nat was born in New York City to Sarah and Samuel Fisch, who both emigrated from Poland. He grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and attended City College, where he played basketball. As part of a lifetime of travel, he lived in Brooklyn, Luxembourg, Long Island, Amsterdam and Los Angeles. Nat enjoyed attending baseball games and Italian opera, cooking foods of many cultures and identifying wines to accompany them, and learning any language necessary to those pursuits.
