Ramona Gonzalez

Ramona Gonzalez, 78, of Port Hueneme, Ca, passed away on April 14, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.

Ramona was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas Mexico to Jesus and Ofelia Gonzalez on April 12, 1943.

She moved to Oxnard, Ca in February 1971 and in 1975 she made her permanent residence in Port Hueneme, Ca. From 1972 until she retired she worked all seasonal for Hasegawa Farms, Lugo Farms, and BUD of California.

Ramona is survived by her children, Maria Guadalupe (Robert), Jesus, Marco Antonio, Maria Elva and Ramona. 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Jesus, sister Elva, son Juan Alberto, mother Ofelia, and her two brothers Juan and Ezequiel.

Ramona was so loving of everyone she came in contact with. No one ever left her home with an empty stomach, a hug, a kiss or hearing her say, "I love you" or "God bless you" as you walked out the door. Let us remember Doña Ramona, Doña Monche, Ramoncita, for the sweet, great, loving, and caring woman she was and let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
