Richard Lee Kutin

Mr. Richard Lee Kutin of Camarillo, CA passed away on Thursday July 16th, 2020 at 12:16am at the age of 79.

Richard was born on January 7th, 1941 in Reinbeck, Iowa to Anna and Stanley Kutin.  Richard married his High School sweetheart Janice Kay Cooksey in 1960.   Richard is survived by his wife Janice of 60 years, daughter Jane Marie Bishop and Son-in-law Joe Donald Bishop, son Rick Lee Kutin who proceeded him in death in February 2018.  Richard also leaves behind three grandchildren; Jessica, Justin and Jaclyn and four great-grandchildren with one expected in October 2020.

Richard worked for National Cash Register in Waterloo, Iowa for 15 years and owned and operated Gladbrook Bowling Alley in Gladbrook, Iowa.  Richard moved to California in 1978 where he worked at Kilovac Corporation as an Engineer for 30 years earning four patents in his name for parts used on the Space Station. Richard also was a long-time member of the Moose Lodge in Camarillo, California.  Richard loved old cars and attended many local Car shows where he displayed his classic 1957 Chevrolet and 1958 Corvette.  Richard will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.  Due to the COVID-19 crisis a celebration of his life will be shared at a later date.
