My Beautiful Grandma, You are now resting in peace. You lived a life full of love and laughter. 93 years old. 9 children. 24 grandchildren. 34 great-grandchildren. 3 great-great grandchildren. I will miss so many things about you. I will miss your laugh, your warmth, your heart, your homemade tortillas, your brutal honesty and how loved you made me feel. We are missing you everyday since you left us but knowing that you are with dad has brought us some comfort. We are so happy to know that your pain is gone and that you are at peace and you are with dad and God. You are forever in our hearts and thoughts and both you and dad have left us with so many wonderful memories to help us through this difficult time. We know you are taking care of dad again and we will see you again.

Thank you for entrusting me with Socorro's arrangements at this delicate time in your lives. How blessed you all are to have had her the many years you did. From what you've shared with me, she was a strong matriarch in your family and will most certainly be missed. I pray the way you've chosen to celebrate her life, and the love you each shared with her, brings you a sense of peace.
