Vivian Paula Rye Miroballi passed away on June 21, 2017 in Santa Barbara, California surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 25th, 1927, the second daughter of Ernest and Emma Rye. She attended and graduated from Austin High school in Chicago, IL. Vivian married the love of her life, Daniel Miroballi on April 19, 1947, just recently celebrating 70 years of marriage.
Vivian was full of enthusiasm for life, which included devotion to the Lord where she volunteered at the many Catholic Churches she attended throughout her life. Her never ending love and care for her husband and family were above and beyond. Some of her favorite things were cooking, gardening and she was always ready for a challenging game, playing cards or working a jigsaw puzzle. One of her great loves was dance which started at a very young age and continued throughout her life. She and Dan were known for their many dance parties and never failed to “cut a rug” at the many weddings they attended, amazing all the onlookers!
She had the opportunity to extensively travel with her husband to Europe and throughout the United States. In the past 17 years they were able to enjoy many excursions with their corvette club (SLO-Vettes).
She is survived by her husband, Daniel, her sister, Majorie Arneiri, of Chicago Il, her 5 children, Daniel (Kathy) of Newbury Park, CA, Duane (Lisa) of Lompoc, CA, Pam (Jim) of Fairfield, CA, Patrice (Mike ) of Chico, CA, Paulette (D.R.) of Moorpark, CA. She cherished her 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
