William "Bill" Joseph Barnett

With extremely heavy hearts, the Barnett family regrets to announce the passing of our brother and son, William “Bill” Barnett.  He unexpectantly passed away on June 15, 2022. Bill was born in Simi Valley, California and spent much of his life in Moorpark.

He enjoyed the outdoors, enjoyed fishing in the lakes near Bass Lake, hiking, and biking. Bill was a simple man with simple needs, but deeply loved by all.

Bill is survived by his mother, Joyce Barnett, his stepmother, Kathy Barnett, and his brothers Terry Barnett, Robert Barnett, Tom Harris, Jim Harris, and Fred Harris. He is also survived and greatly missed by his loving daughter Daisy Anderson, whom he taught to appreciate the outdoors.  He is remembered by his son-in-law, Michael Anderson and granddaughter, Lyla Anderson. Additionally, he is survived by his nephew, Josh Barnett, and his nieces, Candice Barnett, Tristen Barnett, and Jaime Barnett. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert I. Barnett and his brother, Greg Barnett.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to celebrate the life of Bill on June 30, 2022, at 10:00 am,  Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo, California.
