I am sad to hear of Cheryl's passing. My Mom Arlene Davison was in the coffee clutch with Pat, so our families go way back. My heart breaks for your loss. God bless you at this difficult time. Dee Dee

Cheryl and I attended St. John's Lutheran Church and youth group together growing up. We also went to Channel Islands High School although Cheryl was in the class two years above me. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. We had lost touch but she has been in my thoughts many times over the years. May Cheryl's friends and family find peace and comfort during the difficult days ahead and find joy in shared memories.

I worked for GTE/Verizon for 36 years and can honestly say my favorite time was the four or so years in the mid 90's working for Cheryl in Bill Distribution. She ran a tight ship and was so proud of the operation but she also had a soft spot for everyone that worked for her and would do anything for them. She enjoyed dining at Stella's or getting Baja Fresh takeout for lunch and going to the park with us to eat it. It was a family. None of the team works for GTE/Verizon anymore, but we try to keep in touch, which is a testament to what Cheryl built. Gone way too soon. My condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of Cheryl’s passing, but I am glad that I was able to reconnect with her after so many years. We spoke for the first time again in 2017, after losing contact since 1991., and shared memories of good times at GTE. RIP sweet Cheryl!

Probably the most exciting years of my career was when I worked for Cheryl in GTE Bill Distribution. Our department was like family because Cheryl made it so. Cheryl was tough, challenging and fearless. She demanded your best because she knew you had it in you.
I remember her fondly and I am so sorry she’s gone too soon. My condolences to her family.
